What is ConCare GP?
ConCare GP is an environmentally friendly, solvent-free, water-dispersed acrylic copolymer-based curing compound and surface sealer developed by Baral Chemical Company Ltd.
When applied to freshly placed concrete, ConCare GP forms a thin protective layer over the surface that helps reduce premature moisture loss caused by evaporation. This supports effective curing without disturbing the normal setting action of the concrete.
In addition to retaining moisture, ConCare GP helps harden and seal cementitious surfaces, improving surface strength, abrasion resistance and overall concrete durability.

Before Application
Surface Preparation
ConCare GP should be applied to freshly placed concrete as soon as the surface water has evaporated.
- Ensure the surface is clean and sound.
- Remove dust and loose particles.
- Remove grease and oil.
- Remove mould-release agents.
- Remove shutter oil and other contaminants.
- Do not apply while bleed water is forming or remains present on the concrete surface.
Mixing Procedure
Ready-to-Use Single Component
ConCare GP is supplied ready to use. No mixing with water or other materials is required. Do not dilute the product. Shake or stir thoroughly before application.

How to Apply ConCare GP

Application should begin as soon as the concrete surface becomes free from surface water. For vertical surfaces, apply immediately after removal of the formwork. After application, no further application of water or other curing material is required for continued curing.
Protect the treated surface from rain for at least 2–3 hours after application.
