Prepare the Surface
Make sure the surface is clean, sound and free from dust, loose particles, grease and oil. Highly absorbent surfaces should be saturated with clean water without leaving standing water.

Select the Method
Choose ConBond SBR as a neat bonding agent, bonding slurry coat, additive or waterproofing primer according to the required repair or bonding application.

Mix Properly
For cementitious applications, blend the cement and sand first and then add the pre-mixed ConBond SBR and clean water. Mix until a uniform material is obtained.

Apply & Finish
Apply the bonding layer evenly. For bonding work, place the subsequent mortar or concrete while the ConBond SBR layer is still tacky.

ConBond-SBR is a modified styrene butadiene rubber emulsion which is supplied as a ready to use white liquid. It is designed to improve the quality of site-batched cementitious mortars and slurries. Being resistant to hydrolysis, it is ideal for internal and external applications in conjunction with cement.
