‘Pilogel’ is a selectively mined high montmorillonite natural Sodium Bentonite produced under controlled conditions. Pilogel is a high-quality Bentonite with well-balanced rheological properties, designed to fit with all necessities of diaphragm walling, piling, pipe-jacking, tunneling or drilling. Pilogel Bentonite is blended from naturally occurring materials designed to provide high gelling, lubricate and suspension properties in grouts or slurries. The product is supplied in a fine powder form and is off white/yellow in color with a flour type appearance.
Product Application
Pilogel Sodium Bentonite is used a viscosifier which helps in piling and directional drilling process. It also has good gel strength to help in drilling. It has low water loss and a high liquid limit.
